About
The purpose of jTheo.net is to make a little of the world of Japanese evangelical theology somewhat accessible for those who neither read nor speak the Japanese language. Theology of the 21st century is at its best when done in an international community. It is hoped that this site will enhance the English speaking world's understanding of contemporary Japanese evangelical theology.
The publications included on jTheo.net are primarily English translations of selections from Japanese contemporary evangelical theology. Some selections originally published in English may also be included. No articles are posted here in full unless permission of the author or copyright holder has been granted. Bibliographic information for all sources, whether posted partially or in full, is given.
The publications, theologians, and institutions selected for inclusion on jTheo.net are the responsibility of the author of this site, Dale W. Little. He has resided in Japan for many years and has a keen interest in both the evangelical Church of Japan and its theology. He lectures in theology at Japan Bible Seminary and at Tokyo Christian University, while also serving as a church planter in the greater Tokyo area with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission. He holds a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
